Tipo de Atividade: The candidate is expected to work on an applied research project that involves engagement with local SMEs in the repair and maintenance sector. The project aims to develop a mobile/web App for supporting a Structured and Holistic Digital Workflow for Process Improvement in the Repair and Maintenance (R&M) of Historic Buildings (aSPIRE). Historic building project management is fundamental to enhancing project delivery and performance. The digitised workflow is intended to capture data throughout the various phases of project delivery in a standard procedure/form to support SMEs in delivering high quality R&M of historic buildings. Accrued benefits to project stakeholders when adopting aSPIRE include: improved communication and collaboration to help better meet their needs.? Preparation of user requirements to extend current system specification in terms of UML and Service-Oriented Architecture for supporting a Structured and Holistic Digital Workflow for Process Improvement in the Repair and Maintenance (R&M) of Historic Buildings (aSPIRE)? Design the extended system in terms of client-server technology and database technology? Implement and test a mobile/web App for the system? Liaising with project stakeholders to identify end-user requirements? Writing of the research reportThe job market is always competitive and often a ?little extra? in your CV makes a huge difference.
